Popular Jailbreak Tweak CallBar to be Released Soon for iOS 9
Callbar is a well known tweak by Cydia developer Elias Limneos which redesigns the incoming call interface so that it is less disruptive and allows you to perform other tasks on your iPhone while talking. If you’re a fan of the tweak, the good news is that it will be available for iOS 9 soon.
The developer announced on Twitter today that CallBar for iOS 9 is in its final stages of testing and will be submitted to Cydia soon. It’s only a matter of days before we will see the new package up for grabs.
For folks who haven’t tried CallBar before, it displays the call interface as a banner at the top of the screen which occupies only one third of the screen rather than the entire display. In this way, you can continue using your iPhone while choosing to answer, decline or dismiss a call without stopping what you are doing.
The tweak integrates with Notification Center, and works with both normal as well as FaceTime Audio calls. It also has a dialler that can completely replace the Phone app.
Elias hasn’t provided any additional information on the exact ETA and how much it would cost once it hits the Cydia store but the update could be free for existing users.
Stay tuned with us to find out when the tweak is available for download.
